MARION – Williamson County deputies have arrested a man in connection with a residential burglary that happened earlier this month in the 12000 block of Prosperity Road.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, just after 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, deputies responded to the scene and while responding, were advised that the suspect was driving a black van which was backed up to the door of the home. The caller was able to provide the vehicle’s license plate information.

As deputies were traveling west on Stotlar Road, they saw a black Dodge Caravan with license plate information that matched the description provided by the caller.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and discovered the vehicle to be occupied by only the driver who was identified as Timothy J. Buckingham.

While speaking to Buckingham, deputies saw multiple items in the vehicle which had been taken from the home. Buckingham admitted to taking items from the home.

A probable cause search of the vehicle recovered stolen property and controlled substances.

Buckingham was cited for Residential Burglary and Possession of Controlled Substance. He was transported to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
