MARION – Heavy rains overnight caused flooding to occur in Williamson County.

According to storm reports from the National Weather Service in Paducah, East Blue Avenue and Keely Street in Creal Springs was reported flooded. Other reports of street/road flooding, roads being closed, and vehicles stranded were reported in Marion and Creal Springs.

Some flooding was reported north of Cambria.

In Johnson County, one inch hail was reported in Tunnel Hill. And flooding was reported in yards, basements and farmland in Goreville.

Jackson County reported road flooding southeast of Carbondale.

In Massac County, a street was flooded northwest of Metropolis.

In Union County, wind damage from a thunderstorm knocked a tree over the road in the Mill Creek area.
