HERRIN – Herrin Police continue to investigate a Monday night shooting in the area of Bayer Circle Drive.

Police arrived shortly after 6 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The scene was secured and there was no immediate threat to the public.

A suspect was taken into custody according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
