DU QUOIN – The Williamson County Shrine Club will host its 3rd annual circus featuring the world-renowned Carden International Circus Saturday at the Indoor Arena at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. Shows will be held at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The club currently has tickets on sale. They are $10 apiece which allows you to get two kids under the age of 12 in on one ticket where at the gate you would pay for individual tickets. One $10 ticket will also get one adult in to the circus. Tickets at the gate will cost you more, so the club recommends buying them in advance.

Kenneth George with the Shriners says the whole purpose of the organization is to help children who have medical needs and have difficulties getting treatment.

A percentage of proceeds from the circus will go to Shriners Hospital.
