Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon says Franklin County State’s Attorney Abby Dinn Wednesday formally charged 44-year-old Bryan F. Parks of Bucker with Possession of Burglary Tools, three counts of Burglary, three counts of Theft and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property.

In early December of last year and continuing through January, the sheriff’s office responded to numerous burglaries that happened at businesses throughout rural areas of Franklin County. Most of the burglaries involved forced entry into the businesses causing significant damage to the property with thousands of dollars in cash being taken from within.

Early in the investigation, detectives were able to develop a potential suspect in the crimes. Eventually, and after significant work completed by detectives and deputies, information from the investigation was submitted to Dinn who formally charged Parks for his crimes.
