The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says the worker was mowing on the tractor when another vehicle going west, driven by Bryan T. Braid, passed several vehicles in a no passing zone and then collided with the tractor which was traveling in the same direction. Signs were posted about mowing activities in the area.

Braid’s vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its side in the ditch. The worker was thrown from the tractor on impact. The worker, whose name was not released, was taken to an area trauma center for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Braid was cited for Violation of No Passing Zone and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
