CARMI – A Carmi woman was arrested after Carmi Police officers were sent to an active domestic incident in the 700 block of Burrell Road around 7:25 Sunday night.

According to Carmi Police, officers arrived and separated both parties. Upon investigation, officers arrested and charged 48-year-old Patti M. Burton of Carmi for Domestic Battery. She is lodged in the White County Jail until she can see a judge.
