MARION – The following information was released by the Marion Police Department on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Jeff Griffin, 47, of Marion has been arrested for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance on June 14, 2023 in the 1100 block of E. Griggs St.

Troy Fowler, 56 of Marion has been arrested for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance on June 14, 2023 in the 1100 block of E. Griggs St.

Bobbie Headrick, 34, of Marion has been arrested for Domestic Battery in the 1800 block of Bittle Place on June 15, 2023.

Alexander Dunn, 20, of Creal Springs has been issued a citation for Theft in the 1100 block of N. Carbon St on June 13, 2023.

Melissa Pena, 32, of Johnston City has been arrested for Theft and Illegal Possession of a Weapon by a Felon on June 14, 2023.

Steven Turner, 40, of Marion has been arrested for Unlawful Restraint in the 2600 block of W. DeYoung St. on June 12, 2023.

Amanda Lewis, 38, of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Cannabis and Driving While License Suspended on June 14, 2023 in the area of W. Cherry St. and S. Court St.

John Young, 37, of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines in the 1800 block of W. Main St. on June 13, 2023. Additional citations issued in the 1200 block of Enterprise Way on June 13, 2023 for Obstructing Justice.

Trista Quihuis, 42, of Marion has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines and Obstructing Justice in the 1200 block of Enterprise Way on June 13, 2023.

Yvonne Schwettman, 49, of Chaffee, MO has been arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on June 13, 2023.

Justin Shelton, 40, of Mt. Vernon has been arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Threatening a Public Official and Resisting Arrest in the 3300 block of W. DeYoung St. on June 9, 2023.

Dustin Jones, 30, of Murphysboro has been arrested for Domestic Battery, Resisting a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the area of Walmart on June 14, 2023.
