Crossville Man Facing Prison for Theft, Meth Possession

CARMI – A Crossville man was sentenced in White County Court in Carmi Monday to prison for retail theft, meth possession and theft.

According to White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud, 34-year-old Logan D. Fisk will spend five years in prison for Retail Theft – a Class 4 felony, five years and six months in prison for Possession of Methamphetamine – a Class 3 felony and five years and six months in prison for Theft – a Class 4 Felony.

Fisk was arrested for the retail theft case in April 2022 by Carmi Police Department. After being found guilty in May 2022, Fisk was arrested again by the Carmi Police Department for possession of methamphetamine and theft while awaiting sentencing.

Aud said the meth possession and theft sentences were ordered to run concurrently with one another. However, those sentences were ordered to run consecutively to the sentence imposed for retail theft.

Because the sentences in the respective cases were ordered to be served consecutively, Aud said Fisk was ultimately sentenced to 10 years and six months in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
