(WRXX) – Open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act health-care marketplace begins Tuesday November 1.
The health-insurance marketplace open-enrollment period begins November 1st and continues through January 15th.
Illinois residents have up to 11 providers to choose from depending on their county of residence, offering 275 plans with availability varying depending on the county.
Currently, there are more than 800-thousand uninsured Illinois residents.
Subsidies for those making less than 400 percent of the federal poverty-level cap insurance premiums at eight-and-a-half percent of household income and were extended by the Inflation Reduction Act through 2025.
