(IOCI RADIO) – Illinois is starting to send tax rebates to millions of eligible Illinoisans.
The income and property tax rebates are part of the Illinois Family Relief Plan, giving households “a little boost,” Gov. J.B. Pritzker said Monday.
Taxpayers that chose direct deposits previously will receive their rebates the same way. Others will get checks in the mail.
Officials said it will take several weeks to get all the money out. More information about the rebate program is available here.
