The Regional Office of Education announced Friday it is seeking nominations for Teacher of the Month as part of an initiative to honor and recognize the region’s most outstanding teachers.
Each month, ROE #21 will recognize one outstanding educator and highlight his/her achievements. For the first month, the nominations will be for teachers in any Franklin County school district. Next month, ROE #21 will be taking nominations for teachers in Johnson County.
Nominations can be made here. All nominations must be submitted to by September 20th. One individual’s name will be randomly drawn by a member of the Partnership Against Chronic Truancy Team (PACT).
The drawing for the Franklin County Teacher of the Month will be live on ROE #21’s Facebook page on the last Monday of the month (Monday, Sept. 26) at noon.
The Regional Superintendent of Schools serves as the chief administrative officer of the Regional Office of Education providing essential support to local school districts in partnership with the Illinois State Board of Education.
The Regional Office of Education District 21 is comprised of schools in Franklin, Williamson, Johnson, and Massac counties.
