(IOCI RADIO) – Illinois is launching a new program for elderly citizens.
The initiative is dubbed “PACE,” the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. The goal is to coordinate medical care and health services, so that seniors can remain in their homes instead of moving into a nursing home facility, Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton said.
The new PACE program will initially be available in west Chicago, south Chicago, southern Cook County, Peoria and East St. Louis.
