Entertainment, Events Announced for McLeansboro Fall Festival

MCLEANSBORO – The 2022 Fall Festival presented by the McLeansboro Kiwanis Club is set for Sept. 8, 9 and 10 on the square in McLeansboro.

This year’s entertainment will feature multi-Grammy award winning family gospel group The Isaacs on Thursday, Sept. 8. Opening for The Issacs will be Tim Atwood. Atwood was the keyboard player for 40 years on the Grand Ole Opry.

Friday, Sept. 9 will feature two classic country stars – Moe Bandy and Janie Fricke. Also performing that evening will be James Carothers. Carothers is known for his originals and impressions of country icons and Moore and Moore, a country duo who have performed all over the world, received numerous awards and written songs with many country artists.

Then on Saturday, Sept. 10, registration for the Pet Parade will take place on the northeast corner of the square at 12:30 p.m. The Pet Parade will start at 1 p.m. The Fall Festival Parade begins at 6 p.m. The theme for the parade this year is “Fall Fun in a Small Town.” The final night of the concerts will open with an American Western singing and comedy group, Riders in the Sky. Closing out the night will be the award winning group Diamond Rio.
