‘White Flag’ Law Proposed After Deadly Highland Park Shooting

(IOCI RADIO) – New legislation in response to the Highland Park shooting creates a “white flag” law.

The goal is to close a loophole in current laws and add an extra layer of protection, Villa Park Rep. Deb Conroy said.

There’s a bill already pending in the legislature banning assault weapons that’s picking up traction in the wake of the deadly Fourth of July shooting.
