WHITE COUNTY – Three people were injured and airlifted to a regional hospital following a two-vehicle crash in White County Wednesday evening.
According to Illinois State Police (ISP), around 6:10 p.m. a car driven by 20-year-old Alexia Taborn of De Soto was driving west on Illinois 141 near the intersection of U.S. 45 as another car driven by 43-year-old Brandy Devous arrisburg was driving south on U.S. 45.
Tabor approached the intersection with U.S. 45 and failed to stop at the intersection. Tabor entered the intersection and struck Devous.
Taborn, Devous and a passenger in Taborn’s car – 18-year-old Gracie Dowdy of Elkville – were all flown to a regional hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Taborn was cited for Disobeying a Stop Sign. Dowdy was cited for Failure to Wear Seatbelt.
