(IOCI RADIO) – Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a new law banning “ghost guns” in Illinois Wednesday.
There’s been an increase in untraceable “ghost guns” in the state and across the country over the past couple of years. Illinois State Police Director Brendan Kelly explained why they are problematic.
Kelly said also troubling is that “ghost guns” are more accessible to young people. At least two Illinois teenagers have been charged with possession of one already in May, including one case where a loaded weapon was brought to a high school.
