Early Voting Details Released for Hamilton County Residents

MCLEANSBORO – Early voting for the June 28th Primary Election begins Thursday and will go through Monday, June 27.

Early voting in Hamilton County will take place at the County Clerk’s Office on South Jackson Street in McLeansboro.

Grace Period Voting for the June 28th Primary begins Wednesday, June 1 and will run through Tuesday, June 28 at the County Clerk’s office on South Jackson Street in McLeansboro.

The County Clerk’s office will be closed on Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day and Monday, June 20 for the state observance of Juneteenth.

To vote by mail – formerly known as Absentee Voting, contact the Hamilton County Clerk’s Office at 618-643-2721. Thursday, June 23 will be the last day a ballot can be mailed out.

The County Clerk’s office will also be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 18 and Saturday, June 25 for Early and Grace Period voting. A photo ID and two forms confirming an address will be needed.
