The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning until 6 p.m. Thursday for the entire listening area.
Heavy mixed precipitation is expected starting at noon Wednesday and continuing through midnight Thursday.
Snow accumulation of up to two inches is expected, with sleet of up to one inch and ice around one-tenth of an inch.
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions from this system. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
