Johnston City Man Sentenced 12 Years on Meth Charge

WILLIAMSON COUNTY – A Johnston City man recently pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine – a Class X felony – and was sentenced in Williamson County to 12 years in state prison.

According to Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, 38-year-old Timony E. Long was arrested for possessing 114 grams of meth following a traffic stop in Johnston City in August of this year.

Long has two prior meth manufacturing convictions, and a prior meth possession conviction, all in Williamson County. Long will have to serve 18 months of mandatory supervised release following his release from prison.
