McLeansboro Car Show to Benefit Girls With Rare Cancers

MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro Cruise-In and Car Show, set to benefit Allie and Zyla Brown who have rare cancers, is scheduled for Saturday.

According to the event’s Facebook page, the event will begin with a Hotrod/Classic Car/4×4 Parade at 3 p.m. Lineup for the parade will be at the Hamilton County High School. There will be two registration booths – one on the north side of the Courthouse and one at the parade beginning site.

Awards, to be announced at 8 pm., will be given to the top 30, top 5 kids choice and two Allie Brown and Zyla Brown awards.

Registration will be a $10 donation and all money raised will benefit the two girls.

Officials said cruising is highly recommended. Parking will be on the Courthouse lawn and South Main Street and all vehicles that park on the lawn or Main Street must be registered and display a window registration form.
