New Bill Would Allow Expecting Moms to Apply for Parking Decal

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Pregnant women may be able to park closer under a bill passed by the Illinois House Friday.

The legislation, sponsored by State Rep. Keith Wheeler of North Aurora, would let expectant mothers in their third trimester apply to the Secretary of State’s office for a disability parking decal.

The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration.
