MCLEANSBORO – A McLeansboro man wanted on an active Hamilton County warrant for violating probation is facing new charges after a McLeansboro Police officer saw him walking at the intersection of Randolph and Locust streets around 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
According to McLeansboro Police Chief Nathan Taylor, the officer made contact with 46-year-old Patrick Bishop and took him into custody.
After being transported to the White County Jail in Carmi, it was discovered that Bishop possessed methamphetamine. He’ll now face possession of methamphetamine charges. He is awaiting bond being set by a judge.
