Carbondale Police Seeking Man Involved in Shooting

CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are seeking a Carbondale man allegedly involved in a shooting last Friday night in the 700 block of S. Lewis Ln.

According to a Carbondale Police press release, an arrest warrant has been obtained for 30-year-old Charles Brooks charging him with aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and possession of a weapon by a felon. Brooks has not been located and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said the identities of any remaining suspects are still under investigation.

Twenty-eight-year-old Deandre L. Jones was arrested in connection with the shooting Friday night. He is charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of weapons and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
