Carbondale Offering Reward for Info Leading to Homicide Suspects Arrest

CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale is offering a $2,500 reward to anyone offering information leading to the arrest of homicide suspect Olando Sheron.

Sheron alongside Thomas Evans Jr. and Tyren Johnson were developed as suspects in the Nov. 3, 2019 homicide in the 500 block of South Illinois Ave. which resulted in the death of Keon Lavonte Cooper. Evans Jr. and Johnson are in custody. Sheron has eluded capture and is wanted on a nationwide homicide warrant. He is considered armed and dangerous.

If you encounter Sheron, do not approach him; call your local law enforcement agency. Those with information about Sheron’s whereabouts should contact Carbondale police at 457-3200.
