West Frankfort City Council to Discuss Computer Upgrades, Parade Preparations Tuesday

WEST FRANKFORT – The West Frankfort City Council will discuss and possibly act on approving an estimate to transition and upgrade their current computer system from Windows 7 and install surveillance cameras at the new City Hall building when it meets Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

The council will also circle possibilities on a resolution for the C.A.R.E Association to sponsor the Fantasy of Lights Parade Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. and give approval to block traffic on Anna St. between Main St. and Oak St. from 3 to 10 p.m. to prepare for the parade.

The council is also expected to renew an advertising contract with Lamar Billboards. The meeting is open to the public.
