Street Corner Songs

The Little Egypt Barbershop Chorus presents Street Corner Songs, a collection of time-honored music and humor, in a single performance, Sunday June 9, 2PM to 4PM at the Varsity Theater, 416 S. Illinois Ave, Carbondale. Ticket prices are $12 for general admission, and $10 for children and students. The Little Egypt Barbershop Chorus uses ticket sales to provide scholarships for local music students to attend music camps and other opportunities for instruction and advancement. Wear Orange June 7

The Southern Illinois chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America and Students Demand Action will be hosting a Candlelight Prayer Vigil at the Marion City Square on June 8th at 9pm.  The public is welcome to join the community event as well as wear orange on June 7th as we recognize National Gun Awareness Day.

Liberty Village of Carbonale is hosting a community Easter egg hunt on Friday April 19th!
Ages 0-3 start at 1:00 PM.
