State Police Stationed at Pope Co. District 1. After Student Receives Online Threat

Pope Co. – State Police are working with local law enforcement in Ullin today after a threat was made against a Pope County school student via internet. ISP was contacted by school administration yesterday after a vague, anonymous threat was sent out to the student, and State Police Troopers will be posted at the school throughout the day. The ISP along with the Pope Co. School District want to assure parents and guardians of students in the district that all necessary steps are being taken to insure the safety of their students and faculty at the school.
